Ai Atom Presence Sensor helps you start a new mission by a simple and convenient use of a Presence Sensor or change a PLC register status.
Presence Sensor has two distinct accepted methods:
Start Mission – Start a mission when an object is removed or placed in front of the sensor.
Change PLC register – Change a PLC register when an object is removed or placed in front of the sensor.

Compatible with: MiR100, MiR200, MiR500, MiR1000
Based on the given name, the sensor can start a mission – This mission can be a simple mission (individual mission) or it can be a mission with variable (a mission used as a template) with variable “Pick Up” / “Drop Off” or any other “variable” name.
The function to change PLC registers is used when for instance you need to make a “Drop Off” in the warehouse and you have a limited number of “Gates” / “Docking Stations”. The best way to do it is to check based on PLC registers if the position is free (ex: PLC 150 = 0) or occupied (ex: PLC 150 = 1). If it is occupied, check the next register (ex: 151) until you reach one that is empty. If it is not empty an error handling can be applied. This can be done with the built-in logic from MIR Interface and can have all the features of “Try & Catch”. If there are no positions free, the robot can perform different actions like notifications, go to some other location and play a specific recorded message or make an “Emergency Drop Off”.
The sensor can be installed to docking stations, shelves, racks, Kanban or any other location that is relevant to detect when an object is present / not present and based on this status to generate actions (missions or PLC change).

Presence Sensor is equipped with a convenient 230V power adapter (included).
Presence Sensor requires a Wi-Fi network to communicate with MIR Fleet, Server and Robots.
The Presence Sensor has AI Atom Basic (software to manage Push Buttons, KNX Systems, Dashboards, I/O Modules, Warehouse Door Control, Conveyor Controls, etc.) as a prerequisite.

Buttons can be pre-configured (for convenience and ease of deployment) or they can be configured via the built-in web interface.
